Joy and I daydreamed
Meet my friend Joy Yoon. Joy is writing a book about Los Angeles. "It's harder than you think" she said. "Los Angeles is big".

While she showed me the sights, I told her I was writing a book too. "It's not easy" I explained. "And it's not even big".

I asked her...

Do you have more ideas than time?
Definitely! The hard part is figuring out which ideas are good enough to follow through on, and which are just crazy.

How do you keep your ideas safe?
I write them down in journals all over my house. My brain is highly unreliable to keep things long term so I must rely on pen and paper. Funny thing is that I always forget where they are and am constantly rediscovering old ideas as I clean my house. I have many "Ah ha!" moments when I'm cleaning (which is one of the ways I procrastinate).

How else do you procrastinate?
I procrastinate by working. And when I say "working", I'm only pretending to work. I hope my editor doesn't read this. I'll sit somewhere, lie somewhere, and feign interest in something really important but all I'm doing is daydreaming. I mostly daydream about finishing work. Oh the irony!

               I love ideas.

                  The only trouble is,
I can't seem to ever finish them.

I decided it was time to ask
               my friends for advice.

I thought it was a good idea.
They told me to stop procrastinating.
