Today we say "Ohayo" to
Akinori Oishi. Aki draws... a lot! He just can't stop. He fills pages, people and walls with hundreds and hundreds of small creatures. His drawings cover a skyscraper in Japan and a fun park in Taiwan.
He says that he's only happy when he's filled the whole canvas, so we talked while we drew...
You travel to many places and draw with many people. Does drawing with friends give you new ideas?
Yes! Great to meet my friends all over the world. And all my friends give me more interesting ideas. Actually they do excellent art stuffs in different ways, everybody has a unique style. It should be a kind of exchange ideas. And they also can add their own colours on my drawings and create their own marvelous costumes into my simple characters. Generally an artwork is concluded by the artist alone, but I believe that it can make more funs to share my drawings with many people.
What do you normally think about when you are drawing?
I really concentrate in a meditation. It feels like my mind is flying away in somewhere. I call myself Drawaholic "hand-made-copy-and-paste". During doing it each character has a little difference because of analogue... so maybe I am talking to each of them, just saying "hello" and "how do you do".
How do you feel when you finish?
It just comes up all new ideas for the next Drawaholic!

I love ideas.
The only trouble is,
I can't seem to ever finish them.
I decided it was time to ask
my friends for advice.
I thought it was a good idea.
They told me to stop procrastinating.
